Baseball Recap: Dunnellon Tigers vs. Union County Fightin' Tigers
Dunnellon won against Crystal River last Monday with 11 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. Dunnellon beat the Union County Fightin' Tigers by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 11-1. This was a revenge game for the Tigers: when they faced off against the Fightin' Tigers back in February, they had to take a 3-2 loss.
Brody Roland made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. He has become a key player for Dunnellon: the team is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 3-9 otherwise. Roland was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two RBI.
