Platteview's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 66-44 margin over the Beatrice Orangemen. The Trojans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Platteview's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Elijah Steele, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 12 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Steele a new career-high in boards. Another player making a difference was Owen Trofholz, who went 5 for 12 en route to 17 points along with eight rebounds and five steals.

Platteview smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their offensive board total in three consecutive games.

Platteview's win bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Beatrice, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.
