Basketball Recap: Lake Holcombe Comes Up Short

Lake Holcombe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against the Glenwood City Hilltoppers, falling 81-53.

Brody Olson was his usual excellent self, dropping a triple-double on 25 points, 13 rebounds, and 15 assists for Glenwood City. Olson has been hot, having posted eight or more boards the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Tyler Harrington, who went 5 of 10 on his way to 13 points in addition to six assists and three steals.

Lake Holcombe's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Glenwood City, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Lake Holcombe won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Bruce at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Glenwood City, they will venture away from home to face off against Boyceville at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
