Basketball Recap: North Fort Myers Triumphs

North Fort Myers proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 25) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Mariner Tritons 51-48. For the Red Knights, this counts as revenge for the 88-62 victory the Tritons walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

The win got North Fort Myers back to even at 5-5. As for Mariner, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Fort Myers will take on Island Coast in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mariner, they will be home for the holidays to greet Gateway at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Gateway will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Mariner surely won't give up without a fight.
