Basketball Recap: Tawas Area Comes Up Short

Tawas Area lost against Beaverton back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Tawas Area Braves took a hard 53-39 fall against the Beaverton Beavers. The Braves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tawas Area's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Beaverton, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tawas Area won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Rogers City at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Tawas Area is facing Rogers City at the right time seeing as Rogers City is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Beaverton, they will take on Farwell at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
