Football Recap: Stewartsville Takes a Loss

After flying high against DeKalb last Friday, Stewartsville came back down to earth. The Cardinals lost to East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax] on the road by a 50-34 margin on Friday. The Cardinals haven't had much luck with East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax] recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Stewartsville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax], the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Stewartsville will face off against rival South Nodaway at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax] is set to square off against their familiar foe DeKalb at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
