Football Recap: Luling Falls to Nixon-Smiley in First Game of Season

Luling had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were just a hair shy of victory on Friday and fell 22-21 to the Nixon-Smiley Mustangs. The Eagles were up 14-0 in the first quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

Luling will take on Anderson-Shiro at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Nixon-Smiley, they will face off against Three Rivers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
