Baseball Recap: Randolph School Triumphs

Randolph School won the last time they faced West Limestone and things went their way on Thursday too. The Randolph School Raiders sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 9-7 victory over the West Limestone Wildcats. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Raiders.

The team relied heavily on Jaxton Bennett, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in RBI. Another player making a difference was Bradford Hall, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4.

Randolph School's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for West Limestone, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-11.

Looking ahead, Randolph School will square off against Madison County at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Madison County's pitching crew has only allowed 4.1 runs per game this season, so Randolph School's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for West Limestone, they will take on Lexington at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
