Baseball Recap: Charles City Comes Up Short

After flying high against Crestwood on Friday, Charles City came back down to earth. The Comets fell just short of the Cadets by a score of 5-4 on Friday. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since June 28, 2024, but that streak is no more.

Charles City's loss dropped their record down to 1-20. As for Crestwood, their victory ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 7-13.
