St. John is ranked highly in their home state and on Monday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Bishop Ireton. The St. John's Cadets walked away with a 59-51 win over the Bishop Ireton Cardinals. The victory was nothing new for the Cadets as they're now sitting on three straight.

St. John's pushed their record up to 19-8 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.8 points over those games. As for Bishop Ireton, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 12-12 record this season.

Looking ahead, St. John's will venture away from home to square off against Our Lady of Good Counsel at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
