Cromwell had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3 goals) and they went ahead and made it four on Wednesday. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was the Panthers who were credited with the victory. The Cromwell Panthers got it done in the shootout by posting two goals to the Coginchaug Regional Blue Devils's zero. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 1-0 back in September.
