Football Recap: St. Lucy's Takes a Loss

St. Lucy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost to the Glendora Tartans at home by a 25-6 margin. While losing is never fun, the Regents can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 285th, while the Tartans are ranked 133rd).

Emma Ramirez threw for 192 yards on ten of 21 attempts. Adrienne Ortiz was her top target, picking up 78 receiving yards.

St. Lucy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Glendora, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-3.

St. Lucy's didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 59-12 loss against South Hills on the 25th. As for Glendora, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 14-0 win against Don Lugo on the 25th.
