Volleyball Recap: Salem Christian School Comes Up Short

Salem Christian School lost against University Christian on Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Defenders came up short against the Barracudas, falling 3-0. The Defenders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-11, 25-15.

University Christian found their leader in freshman Fernanda Soto, who had 17 digs and six aces. Soto is also crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 20 every time she's taken the court this season.

Salem Christian School's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for University Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-4.

Salem Christian School wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Statesville Christian on the 7th. As for University Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against North Hills Christian on the 6th.
