Basketball Recap: Meadville's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Two

Meadville won the last time they faced Linn County, and Mason Dennis did his part to make sure it happened again. The Meadville Eagles managed a 60-54 win over the Linn County Mustangs on Tuesday thanks in part to Dennis, who went 6 of 15 on his way to 21 points along with seven boards and five steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played.

The team also got some help courtesy of Walker Norris, who posted seven points and three steals. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in steals.

The victory made it two in a row for Meadville and bumps their season record up to 4-3. As for Linn County, they dropped their record down to 0-4 with the loss, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Meadville will welcome Winston at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Linn County, they will head out to take on Mercer at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
