Baseball Game Preview: Marvin Ridge Mavericks vs. Sun Valley Spartans

For the second straight game, Marvin Ridge will face off against Sun Valley. The Mavericks will be playing at home against the Spartans at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Marvin Ridge has three straight wins, Sun Valley has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Marvin Ridge is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 13-4 margin over Sun Valley on Wednesday.

For Sun Valley's part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brian Devereaux, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.
