Basketball Recap: Landon Haggarty Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Charlotte Latin

There's no place like home for Covenant Day, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They walked away with a 47-37 victory over the Charlotte Latin Hawks on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for the Lions, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Covenant Day's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Landon Haggarty, who posted 14 points and five rebounds. Tyree White was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on nine points and 12 boards.

Covenant Day's win bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Charlotte Latin, they dropped their record down to 9-8 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Cannon the next time they take the court. Charlotte Latin will host Cannon at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while Covenant Day will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
