Baseball Recap: Plainview Gets the Win

While Plainview's win against Ardmore wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Indians had just enough and edged out the Tigers 11-10. The Indians haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Plainview got a massive performance out of Devyn Anderson, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and four runs. Those four runs gave Anderson a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of J D Gibbs, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI and one stolen base.

Plainview's record is now 21-13. As for Ardmore, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-19 record this season.

Plainview wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 13-3 win against Dickson on the 14th. As for Ardmore, they will square off against Purcell at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
