            The Vista del Lago Eagles will head out on the road to  face off against  the Bradshaw Christian Pride  at 3:30  p.m.  on Friday.
Last Tuesday, Vista del Lago didn't have quite enough to beat River City and fell  5-3. The loss was the Eagles' first of the season.
Vista del Lago got a good showing from  David Wright, who   tossed three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit.
 At the plate, Vista del Lago saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Ethan Rhee, who  went 2-for-3 with one  RBI.
Meanwhile, Bradshaw Christian had already won 17 in a row dating back to last season (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it 18 on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Indians as they made off with  a  9-1 win.
 Carter Tidwell made a big impact no matter where he played. He  kept things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits over four innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave  him a new career-high in  strikeouts (three). He was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
 In other batting news,  Joey DeMarco and  Evan Fujii-Sisler did most of the damage at the plate:  DeMarco  went a perfect 1-for-1 with one  triple, one  run,  and one  RBI, while  Fujii-Sisler  scored two  runs while going 1-for-1. Another player making a difference was  Max Wolf, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-2.
 Bradshaw Christian  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .516. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Marysville only posted  an  OBP of  .207.
 Bradshaw Christian pushed their record up to 2-0 with the  victory, which was their 18th straight  at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs over those games. As for Vista del Lago, their  loss was their first of the  season and  makes their record 2-1.
