The Fairfax Lions will head out on the road to face off against the Lake Braddock Bruins at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Fairfax will come into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.
Fairfax barely beat Alexandria City the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Lions blew past the Titans 3-0 on Thursday.
Fairfax never let Alexandria City on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-18, 25-23.

Fairfax's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Makai Nguyen, who had ten digs and three assists. That's the most assists Nguyen has posted over his last six matches.
Meanwhile, Lake Braddock came up short against South County on Thursday and fell 3-1. The loss continues a trend for the Bruins in their meetings with the Stallions: they've now lost three in a row.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-14, 22-25, 25-19.
Lake Braddock's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Fairfax, their win bumped their record up to 10-0.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Tuesday's contest: Fairfax hasn't let much over the net this season, having averaged 7.3 blocks per game. It's a different story for Lake Braddock, though, as they've been averaging only 1.3 blocks. Given Fairfax's sizable advantage in that area, the Bruins will need to find a way to close that gap.
Fairfax came out on top in a nail-biter against Lake Braddock in their previous matchup back in August, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
