Soccer Recap: Carlsbad Victorious

Carlsbad's game on Friday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the La Jolla Country Day Torreys 2-1.

Eduardo Ramos and Mateo La Cotera scored both of Carlsbad's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Carlsbad's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-1-1. As for La Jolla Country Day, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Carlsbad wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Westview on the 9th. La Jolla Country Day has also already played their next contest, a 4-0 defeat against San Dieguito Academy on the 9th.
