Basketball Recap: Granite Bay Victorious + How To Watch

Granite Bay's tournament run continued when they took on Elk Grove on Friday. The Grizzlies walked away with a 75-65 victory over the Thundering Herd. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Grizzlies.

Myles Mike had an outrageously good game as he went 9-for-13 on his way to 26 points. Darnell Turner Jr. was another key player, dropping a double-double with 12 points and ten boards.

Despite the loss, Elk Grove still got an impressive performance from Josh Wilks, who posted 20 points and eight rebounds. The contest was Wilks' third in a row with at least 20 points. Another player making a difference was Mathias MacPhail, who earned 14 points.

Granite Bay now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Elk Grove, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.

Granite Bay and Westlake will round out the year against one another at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Grizzlies will need to watch out since the Thunder have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Elk Grove, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Whitney at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
