Volleyball Game Preview: Clint Lions vs. Riverside Rangers

The Clint Lions are taking a road trip to challenge the Riverside Rangers at 6:35 p.m. on Friday. Clint will be strutting in after a win while Riverside will be coming in after a loss.

Clint took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over San Elizario.

Clint had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-20, 25-18, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Riverside lost 3-0 to Ysleta on Tuesday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-10, 25-13.

Riverside dropped their record down to 7-14 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Clint, their win bumped their record up to 8-18.

Clint came out on top in a nail-biter against Riverside when the teams last played back in September, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
