Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tombstone). They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat the Valley Union Blue Devils 74-39. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 71-24 back in December of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Valley Union lost, don't look at Yahir Luna. Despite the final result, he posted 19 points. Another player making a difference was Michael Durazo, who scored four points and four blocks.

Tombstone's victory bumped their record up to 9-17. As for Valley Union, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-15.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tombstone will take on St. Augustine Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Tombstone is facing St. Augustine Catholic at the right time seeing as St. Augustine Catholic is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
