Football Recap: Dinuba Emperors vs. Golden West Trailblazers
Dinuba was the 22-15 winner over Golden West when they last played one another back in August of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Dinuba Emperors were dealt a 63-8 loss at the hands of the Golden West Trailblazers on Friday.
Golden West was led to victory by Case Anders and Jayden Najera. Anders gained 184 total yards and three touchdowns, while Najera threw for 218 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 10.9 yards per attempt. Anders got the majority of those yards when he took off on a run and that went for an incredible80 yards. Isaac Elias also helped with three touchdowns in total.
Dinuba's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Golden West, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.
Dinuba will host Kingsburg on Friday. As for Golden West, they will venture away from home to take on Mission Oak at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Golden West is no doubt hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
