Baseball Recap: Northfield Takes a Loss

Northfield was the 12-2 winner over Austin when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Raiders fell just short of the Packers by a score of 4-3 on Tuesday.

Northfield's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Austin, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northfield will host Winona at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Austin, they will face off against Faribault at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Falcons have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.08 runs per game on average), something the Packers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
