Catholic Central had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Hustisford Falcons by a score of 3-1. This was payback for the Hilltoppers, who suffered a 2-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Catholic Central had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-22, 25-17, 25-16.

Catholic Central found their leader in freshman Leah Kucera, who had 16 digs and one assist.

Catholic Central was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hustisford only served five.

When it comes to explaining why Hustisford lost, don't look at Layla Thimm. Despite the final result, she had 37 digs and two aces. Hailey Pieper was another key player, getting 25 digs and eight kills.

Catholic Central's record is now 8-23. As for Hustisford, they dropped their record down to 4-22 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Catholic Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Barneveld on the 23rd. Hustisford does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
