Basketball Recap: Northwestern Extends Road Winning Streak to Four

Northwestern extended their road winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Zacuras Dawson. The Northwestern Bulls took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging an 88-52 victory over the Harvest Prep Warriors thanks in part to Dawson, who went 13 for 16 on his way to 29 points. He has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times he's played.

Harvest Prep's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Khalil Daniels, who went 6 of 14 on his way to 14 points. Brandon Roddy was another key player, going 5 for 10 on his way to 12 points and six assists.

Northwestern's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Harvest Prep, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-3.

Northwestern didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 89-55 victory against Kell on the 21st. As for Harvest Prep, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, an 89-84 loss against Dwyer on the 21st.
