Volleyball Recap: Chester Charter Scholars Academy Starts off Right with Win over MAST Community Charter

Chester Charter Scholars Academy gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the MAST Community Charter Panthers, sneaking past 3-2. For the Sabers, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 win the Panthers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

In the three sets Chester Charter Scholars Academy was on fire: they won each by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 1-25, 25-1, 1-25, 25-1, 15-1.

MAST Community Charter is on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chester Charter Scholars Academy will take on Penn Wood at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. As for MAST Community Charter, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Springfield Township at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
