Woodland Regional put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Naugatuck Greyhounds as they made off with a 13-1 victory. 13 seems to be a good number for the Hawks as the team scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Angelena Tottenham was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Another player making a difference was Caitlyn Braun, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and two runs.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Woodland Regional kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in 23 consecutive matchups dating back to last season.

Woodland Regional pushed their record up to 21-0 with the victory, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Naugatuck, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-12.

As of now, neither Woodland Regional nor the Greyhounds have any future games scheduled.
