Aztec entered their tilt with Kirtland Central on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They put the hurt on the Broncos with a sharp 6-0 win. Six seems to be a good number for the Tigers as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Not much got past Cadin Anderson, who gave up just a hit and racked up 12 Ks to keep Kirtland Central off the board. Anderson has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Aztec let Jace Archuleta and Uriah Gonzales run wild. Archuleta went 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run, while Gonzales went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. That triple marked the first that Archuleta has hit this season. Another player making a difference was Cory Douglas, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Aztec's win bumped their record up to 15-6. As for Kirtland Central, they dropped their record down to 7-14 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.
