Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Whitharral

Whitharral had won two straight games and Nathaniel Sansom did his part to make it three on Thursday. The Whitharral Panthers claimed a resounding 75-11 victory over the Lazbuddie Longhorns thanks in part to Sansom, who almost dropped a double-double on 29 points and nine boards. His evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Another player making a difference was Brolin Kennedy, who posted six points and six rebounds. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in boards.

Whitharral's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Lazbuddie, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Whitharral didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 40-38 victory against Southcrest Christian on the 13th. Lazbuddie will take on Happy in a holiday battle at at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
