Basketball Recap: Charlotte Christian Takes a Loss

Charlotte Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Charlotte Latin Hawks and fell 62-2. The game marked the Knights' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Charlotte Latin's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lanie Edwards, who posted 12 points and three steals. The dominant performance also gave Edwards a new career-high in assists (four). Another player making a difference was Wallace Roberts, who went 5 for 8 en route to 10 points and three steals.

Charlotte Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Charlotte Latin, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 14-6.
