Aberdeen Central has been on the road for two straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They will host the Huron Tigers at 7:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Friday.
Aberdeen Central is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their matchup on the road on Friday with ease, bagging a 48-8 win over Mitchell. The Golden Eagles pushed the score to 28-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Kernels had little chance of recovering from.
Aberdeen Central can attribute much of their success to Ridley Waldo, who rushed for 115 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.2 yards per carry, and Colby Dauwen, who gained 113 total yards and two touchdowns. Those 115 rushing yards gave Waldo a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Brody Aesoph, who picked up 93 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, while Huron put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Douglas. Huron breezed by Douglas at home to the tune of 36-0. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Tigers considering their seven-point performance the contest before.

The victory got Aberdeen Central back to even at 3-3. As for Huron, their win bumped their record up to 2-4.
