Basketball Recap: Berman Hebrew Academy Takes a Loss

Berman Hebrew Academy lost against Magen David Yeshivah back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Sunday. The Cougars were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 58-57 to Magen David Yeshivah. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (55), the Cougars still had to take the loss.

Several Cougars players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Itai Rozmaryn, who went 6-for-15 to rack up 17 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex August, who shot 50% from the field en route to 23 points.

Berman Hebrew Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 33-8. As for Magen David Yeshivah, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Berman Hebrew Academy has already played their next matchup, a 78-68 loss against Yeshiva University of Los Angeles (YULA) on the 31st. Magen David Yeshivah does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
