Football Recap: West Carroll's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

After flying high against West Prairie/Southeastern last Friday, West Carroll came back down to earth. The Thunder took a 30-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Polo Marcos on Friday. The Thunder lost against the Marcos in their previous head to head back in November of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 66-0 score last time.

Having lost for the first time this season, West Carroll fell to 2-1. As for Polo, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. West Carroll will face off against rival River Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Polo is set to challenge their familiar foe Milledgeville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
