Baseball Recap: Bishop Eustace Prep Triumphs

Bishop Eustace Prep's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They never let the Kingsway Dragons get on the board and left with a 6-0 win. For the Crusaders, this counts as revenge for the 4-3 victory the Dragons walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Lucas Edwards tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out six over six innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in May of 2024.

At the plate, Dante Bell was excellent, scoring a run while going 3-for-4. Those three hits gave him a new career-high.

The win got Bishop Eustace Prep back to even at 1-1. As for Kingsway, they now have a losing record of 1-2-1.

Coming up, Bishop Eustace Prep will face off against Shawnee at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Kingsway, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 4-0 victory against Camden Catholic on the 6th.
