Basketball Recap: Solon Comes Up Short

Solon came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Brecksville-Broadview Heights Bees an easy 75-51 win. The game marked the Comets' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Solon's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Brecksville-Broadview Heights, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Solon and Brecksville-Broadview Heights will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Comets see the court they'll take on Woodridge at 6:30 p.m. on the 30th. As for Brecksville-Broadview Heights, their break will end when they face Twinsburg at 7:30 p.m. on January 6, 2026.
