Basketball Game Preview: Judson Rockets vs. Edinburg Bobcats

The Judson Rockets will take on the Edinburg Bobcats on Thursday. One thing working in Judson's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven matches.

Judson is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They slipped by Eagle Pass 61-60. Given the Rockets' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 138th, while the Eagles are ranked 304th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Edinburg beat Veterans Memorial 50-44 on Monday.

Edinburg has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 28-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.1 points over those games. As for Judson, their win bumped their record up to 18-15.

Judson took their victory against Edinburg in their previous matchup back in December of 2019 by a conclusive 73-50. Does Judson have another victory up their sleeve, or will Edinburg turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
