Soccer Recap: West Mecklenburg Takes a Loss

West Mecklenburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 8-0 to the North Mecklenburg Vikings. The result was an unpleasant reminder to West Mecklenburg of the 9-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.

West Mecklenburg's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for North Mecklenburg, their win bumped their record up to 2-8-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Mecklenburg will face off against Hopewell at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopewell will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something West Mecklenburg surely won't give up without a fight. As for North Mecklenburg, they will challenge Chambers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
