Volleyball Game Preview: Mt. Carmel Golden Aces vs. Fairfield Mules + How To Watch

Mt. Carmel hasn't had much luck against Fairfield recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Golden Aces will welcome the Mules at 7:00 p.m.

On Thursday, Mt. Carmel came up short against Casey-Westfield and fell 2-0.

Mt. Carmel was not able to win a set, but it sure wasn't from a lack of trying: every set was decided by exactly two points. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Fairfield had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 2-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Fairfield took both sets by at least 22 points. The final score came out to 25-1, 25-3.

Mt. Carmel's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 8-9. As for Fairfield, their victory bumped their record up to 15-5.
