            Softball Recap: String Theory vs. Northeast Vikings        
        
		
        
        
            Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only String Theory walked away with it. They walked away with  a   10-6  win over the Northeast Vikings  on Thursday. The high-scoring effort was just what String Theory needed considering they were shut out in their previous   match.

 Annamae Uhl made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she  struck out ten batters over  seven innings while giving up  five earned  (and one unearned) runs off   five  hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't  tossed less than eight  strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-3 with two  runs and one  stolen base.
 In other batting news, String Theory let  Alexa Pietrafesa and  Danica Divincenzo run wild. Pietrafesa  got on base  in three of her four plate appearances with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  RBI, while  Divincenzo  went 1-for-4 with one  home run and three  RBI.
String Theory's victory bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Northeast,  the  loss snapped their winning streak at seven games  and leaves them with a 10-2 record.
 String Theory does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Northeast, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next  game,  a  10-6  defeat against Philadelphia Performing Arts on the 8th.
