Baseball Recap: North Tahoe Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact North Tahoe can now relate to. They lost 15-7 to the Yerington Lions on Saturday. The Lakers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lions earlier this season, when they won 5-2.

Alexis Ibarra made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Jessie Glickman, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

North Tahoe's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-7. As for Yerington, they pushed their record up to 28-4 with the victory, which was their 12th straight on the road.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Lions beat North Tahoe by a score of 15-8 later that day.
