Football Game Preview: Port Barre vs. Crowley

After two weeks on the road, Crowley is heading back home. They will square off against Port Barre at 7:00 PM on Friday. Coming off of a win even when the odds were against them, Crowley have to be feeling especially confident with the MaxPreps state rankings on their side for this one.

Even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Crowley beat Church Point 20-16 last Thursday. The success made it back-to-back wins for Crowley.

Meanwhile, we expected Port Barre to have trouble with the significantly higher-ranked Iota, and they did. Port Barre suffered a grim 6-39 defeat to Iota. Port Barre's defeat continues a disappointing trend for the team, making it four losses in a row.

Crowley took the contest and then some with a 38-0 win over Port Barre the last time the two teams met. Will Crowley repeat their success, or does Port Barre have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
