Maclay proved they can win big last Saturday (they won by ten) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Wakulla War Eagles 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Marauders have posted against the War Eagles since February 23, 2021.
Noah Chavez made a splash no matter where he played. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he gave up only zero walks, the fewest he's had since back in April of 2024. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI.
