It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Nipomo can now relate to. They came up short against the Bullard Knights on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Titans' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

While Nipomo ultimately came up short, they really made Bullard work, particularly in the second set. The final score came out to 25-23, 27-25, 25-16.

Addison Stegenga paced Nipomo's offense, picking up 13 kills. Stegenga got some help from Raelynn Ortiz and her 28 assists. Stegenga was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Nipomo's defeat dropped their record down to 26-7. As for Bullard, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-9 record this season.

Nipomo will square off against Grant at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bullard, they have already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Hughson on the 11th.
