Football Recap: Huge Rushing Attack Leads Washington-Liberty over George C. Marshall

Washington-Liberty won the last time they faced George C. Marshall and things went their way on Friday too. The Generals took down the Statesmen 31-14. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Generals.

Brayden Black was his usual excellent self, rushing for 235 yards and four scores while picking up 7.8 yards per carry. Those four rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high.

Black was just one part of a punishing run game: Washington-Liberty was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 247 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Washington-Liberty's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for George C. Marshall, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-3.
