Volleyball Recap: Columbia Falls Short of Buckhorn in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Columbia can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Buckhorn Bucks on Wednesday. The Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured eight defeats in a row.

Columbia's loss dropped their record down to 6-18. As for Buckhorn, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 38-15 record this season.

Columbia does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Buckhorn, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Hazel Green on the 15th.
