            Basketball Recap: Tri County Northeast Wolfpack vs. Crofton Warriors        
        
		
        
        
            Tri County Northeast unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a  blow against the Crofton Warriors on Thursday, falling  86-9. The Wolfpack were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  55-5.

 Tri County Northeast lost  despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being   Mica Tornez, who  posted four points and five  rebounds. That's the most  rebounds  Tornez has posted since back in December of 2023.
 Crofton's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Jaida Allen, who  went 8 of 12 on her way to 20 points and six  steals. The team also got some help courtesy of  Cassie Allen, who  went 8 of 11 on her way to 18  points and five  steals.
 Tri County Northeast didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  game,  a  49-35  defeat against Bloomfield on the 6th. As for Crofton, they also  wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  contest,  an  86-39  win against Laurel-Concord-Coleridge on the 6th.
