Baseball Game Preview: Liberty Patriots vs. Juanita Ravens

The Liberty Patriots will take on the Juanita Ravens at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams were dealt some close losses in their previous games and are determined not to let this one get away.

Liberty is headed into the match having just suffered their closest loss since May 4, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of Hazen by a score of 3-1.

Ryan Boehm spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned runs on six hits and racked up 13 Ks.

Meanwhile, Juanita unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of Redmond by a score of 7-5. Ravens fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Mustangs since on Monday.

Gabe Pham made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Jonah Schroder was another key player, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and one RBI.

Juanita's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Liberty, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.
