Basketball Game Preview: Madison Blue Streaks vs. Perry Pirates

The Madison Blue Streaks just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the Perry Pirates at 6:15 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Madison comes in on five and Perry on three.

On Friday, Madison earned a 61-51 win over Chardon.

Meanwhile, Perry beat Geneva 60-52 on Saturday. Given the Pirates' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 154th, while the Eagles are ranked 366th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Madison pushed their record up to 6-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.2 points per game. As for Perry, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.
